A Church Wedding … behind the scenes!

This Journal post illustrates, through a series of images, the journey from the freshly delivered market flowers to the final installation at a recent Church wedding.  It was a fairly small-scale installation compared to some but the photographs show some of the behind-the-scenes processes that result in a beautifully dressed venue!  The Church was the one I was married in a year and a half ago, so the whole day held special poignance for me.  I was married at the end of November so the flowers were totally different.  It was lovely to dress the architecture with early summer flowers and see the different effects.
